Beverley is a teacher of God’s Word and has been a classroom teacher for over 50 years. She dedicated her life to teaching, a career which began as a Pupil Teacher One and progressed to principal of St. Joseph Primary School, St. Joseph, Dominica. To enhance her skills and become more proficient and efficient, she obtained an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy of Education, and a Master’s Degree, with distinction, in Education with concentration in school, community, and the home.

She has provided and continues to provide resources, learning skills, techniques, and strategies to students and parents of students from grade K to 12 in Dominica, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Grand Cayman,, and the United States. She is an avid presenter and organizer of Family Life seminars, and conferences. Also, she designs and implements programs to encourage and empower audiences from different denominations and backgrounds to stir up revival and reformation.

 Beverley pursued qualification as a Certified Family Life Educator with Andrews University, Michigan, USA, and conducts sessions for children and adults in educational, personal, and spiritual development and relationships. She was instrumental, along with her colleague, Mrs. Helena Warrington, in birthing a church, spiritually, financially, and structurally, in a small village of Tarreau in Dominica where she was ordained an elder and served as head elder for two terms. After migrating to St. Thomas, United States Virgin Island, she was elected head elder and served for two terms as well. She also ministered at the Seventh-day Adventist church in both territories, as Sabbath School Superintendent, Youth Leader, Pathfinder Counselor, Family Life Director, Women’s Ministries Leader, and preached two evangelistic efforts at which six individuals gave their lives to the Lord.

Beverley is a prolific storyteller who held a radio program, Storytime with Aunty Bev, on WGOD, a local radio station in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, an affiliate of Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) from 2003 until she migrated to the U. S mainland  in 2015. She is also an author and writer who produced her memoir, My Checkered Life, Crowned with His Benefits, an exposition of Psalm 103:1-5, and three children’s storybooks, named after her grandchildren: Justin of Zamoreville, Hailey of Zamoreville, and Ashley of Zamoreville.

Beverley is a widow with four adult children and five grandchildren. She loves walking, reading, writing, traveling, and exploring new cultures.
